10 Lowest Ranking Jobs in US

We have high flying careers such as CEO, CFO, Manager and so on, but at the same time there are jobs that none of us would want to do (if that is possible). Unfortunately, not all of us can get great jobs so we would have to be content with whatever that is available.

Below are 10 lowest ranking jobs in US, raking in less than $40,000 per year. If you are experienced, you might be able to earn more than that.

If you want a change of career, these are the worst options available (although not all of us get the chance for a change of career in life).

1. Lumberjack – dealing with timber.

2. Dairy Farmer – dealing with animals.

3. Taxi Driver – dealing with people.

4. Sailor – on sea most of the time.

5. Emergency Medical Technician – dealing with accidents or injuries.

6. Roofer – dealing with roof.

7. Welder – dealing with metal.

8. Garbage Collector – dealing with garbage.

9. Roustabout – dealing with oil rigs and similar stuff.

10. Ironworker – dealing with iron for buildings and any framework.

In Malaysia, it is obvious the lowest ranking job would be garbage collector. However, without garbage collector, we would never be able to get rid of the garbage (and the smell of it).

Surprisingly, taxi driver is a rather popular career in Malaysia, mainly in KL and other big cities in Malaysia. Without taxi driver, it would be difficult for people without transportation to move around the town.

So, is there any dream job for you in this list?

I don’t think so!
