Presently, SONY is looking to recruit Sales Executive, Marketing Executive, Product Advisors and Technical Support staff to work in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. The sales, marketing and technical support jobs are full time jobs whereas the advisor post is available both as full time and part time jobs.
Followings are the details of the jobs available;
1. Sales Executive
Position based in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur and also Penang office (Jalan Pantai Molek, Tanjong Tokong). Successful job candidates will execute sales support activities and coordinate promotional plan for SONY’s authorized dealers.
You will have a degree, diploma or professional qualification preferably in the field of Sales, Marketing and Business Administration (for those without a degree, a minimum experience of 2 years in the sales and marketing field will certainly be of advantage). Possess good understanding of the sales process and operations. Additionally, you need to have your own transport as the position requires those candidates who are mobile enough to carry out sales related activities.
2. Marketing Executive
Based in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, the Marketing Executive is mainly responsible to formulate, plan, implement and execute the planned marketing strategies for assigned product categories within SONY’s company guidelines. You will also set research objectives, design, review and analyze results from database as well as making recommendations on how to continually improve the business results.
The Marketing Executive needs to have a degree preferably in the field of Marketing, Mathematics, Business Administration and related disciplines with at least 2 years of experience in analysis and marketing of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), Consumer Electronics or in a Research House.
You will have a definite advantage if you are a photography enthusiast with knowledge of DLR type camera usage. Strong analytical skills with ability in handling figures and data. As the job involves you giving presentations, talks and speeches, you will certainly need to have a strong communication skills. In other words, if public speaking can kill you, than this job is definitely not for you. Many of the marketing activities are outdoors so make sure you are an outdoor person. Last but not least, expect an extensive traveling and long work hours.
3. Technical Support
