4,000 job offers through SPIKE Graduate Program

One of the never ending nightmares faced by the employers in Malaysia is to recruit good graduates fresh from the universities. Often time, a good intention of giving opportunity to fresh graduates are met with disappointments. Employers got a shock of their life when discovering how poor the graduates are when it comes to communication and personal skills. They found that graduates lack the wisdom and maturity to enter the competitive job market.

There goes the chances for those graduating students.

But all is not over because Alam Teknokrat, or better known as SKALI, comes to your rescue. SKALI (Alam Teknokrat Sdn Bhd) is a company that focuses on the development of e-commerce or e-businesses. They set up and implement integral e-business infrastructure, solutions and services. SKALI’s core business includes internet data center operations, web applications and e-consultancy. The company is co-founded and CEO-ed by Tengku Farith Rithauddeen, who once featured in Asiaweek’s 25 Young Wired and Rich list.

SKALI was recently awarded a 6-year old project worth RM258 millions to maintain and upgrade over 102 state government and 471 federal government websites. Owing to the fact that it is a big job and they are definitely under staffed to handle the whole project (also that with big money comes big responsibility), SKALI made a move to announce a program called SPIKE that will see as many as 4000 jobs to be filled by graduates, especially those who are still unemployed.
