PenExpo will be organizing the Penang Career Expo 2008, the fifth time after its first successful inaugural event done back in 2004.

The first Penang Postgraduate expo will also be held in conjunction with the same event during the time.

More than 5,000 jobs from both the government and private sectors, mostly based in Penang and northern area are to be offered during the career fair. Additionally, a healthy selection of postgraduate courses and programs from various higher institutions will be available for interested students.

Some highlights of the event also cover career talks, resume clinic and franchise seminars conducted by experienced professionals in their field.

Participating event exhibitors include Avago Technologies, Motorola, Renesas, Firefly (which is also offering free flight tickets as part of sponsorship), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Carsem, Continental, EPS Consultants, Intel, JobsDb, JobStreet.com, Maxis, Mesiniaga, Spansion and many others, hiring for various industries and specializations.
