This short, special post is a tribute to 6 of our national heroes who died in the recent Nuri helicopter crash in Genting. Our condolences to the grieving family members and pray their souls rest in peace and placed among the blessed. Al-fatihah.

My condolence to the brave countrymen who perished in this accident.
I guess it’s time the government should phase out this old machine sooner with some good replacement. The Nuri has crashed one time too many and we continue ignorant, more of our soldiers will perish.

firstly, “salam takziah” to all the family members of the recent Nuri disaster. there is an obvious need to spend some money to replace the helicopters, rather than concentrating on some other lesser important national projects like targeting the breaking of world records, every now and then. i’m sure your government have more than enough money for that and i can see that there are so many rich individuals in Malaysia who could also sponsor, if the need be. despite of so many incidents, i feel that your the govt has not done its part. i’m a serviceman from your neighbouring country and at times, i work alongside with your people. i can only feel sorry for them. are u all waiting to lose more of your dedicated servicemen this way? can someone do something, if u treasure the lives of your people? how is TUDM going to protect Malaysia in case there is a war, when all u have are old flying junks that are already a hazard to your own soldiers? money can buy almost anything, but not lives! please for heavens’ sake, BUY NEW HELICOPTERS and REPLACE the NURIs!!!
