Astro, the subscription TV service began operations in 1996 with 22 channels and currently broadcasts over 119 pay-TV channels in four major languages across Malaysia and Brunei to more than 2.93 million households.

Astro will be having a walk-in interview or job fair this coming Friday & Saturday, 23 & 24 July at the Gardens Hotel & Residences, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

Astro welcomes university graduates with CGPA 2.8 and above or equivalent with qualification in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Creative Multimedia, Arts & Design, Mass Communication, Social Science, Broadcasting and Business Studies to fill the following positions:

Engineers (Playout & Record System, Broadcast System) Editors (Quality Assurance, Presentation, Content), Promo Producer, Network Scheduler, Channel Programming, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, Call Center.

Other positions available also include:

Account Executive (Regional), Outside Broadcast Engineer, DSNG Engineer, Office Administrator, Area Executive (Tawau/Kuantan), Journalist/Reporter, Net Developer, Corporate Finance (Associate), Sales (Associate), HR Projects (Associate), Communication (Associate), Media Manager, Assistant Vice President (Talent Acquisition) and Assistant Vice President (Retail Sales).
