Here are some highlights of August 2007 postings, tips and happenings. For career women who are currently working in the public service out there, I doubt any of the news below will be better than the latest announcement from Najib that they now can take maternity up to 5 years (unpaid leave). They can opt to take a continuous 5 years off or accumulate the holiday in stages, but one thing for sure is that, they can come back after 5 years and still enjoy 3 stages of salary increment. This is follow up of the initial proposal earlier this month.

My brother in law recently accepted a trainee position with a company in Shah Alam, Selangor and started his job today.
