United Kingdom (UK) is one country that hosts well-known good education institutions. Many renowned and highly-rated universities and colleges e.g. Cambridge and Oxford University hail from UK. If you have any interest in pursuing your education in the United Kingdom, one of the earliest steps you can do is to attend Expo on UK Education organized by the British Council Malaysia. There will be 2 UK education exhibitions coming up this October in Malaysia:Traders Hotel, Georgetown, Penang, 3 October 2007
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, KLC C, 6 & 7 October 2007

Sometimes the Council also participates in university career fairs as well but the best thing is to check with them. British Council currently have 4 offices across Malaysia covering Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. Here’re the addresses:

Other than that, you may also want to visit the websites of the UK universities you’re interested to know more before deciding which one to choose. Apart from the useful information you get in their website, another major advantage is that you can request a hardcopy of their prospectus to be delivered all the way from the UK right to your mail box without charge. Recently I requested post graduate prospectus from Cambridge University and Imperial College. I already got them.
