Mercer carries out research and analysis and presents data and findings to companies which will be essential to drive competitiveness of their business in the market, attract talents as well as to provide good retention scheme. For example, if DiGi would like to know if their top engineers are well compensated compared to other engineers working with their competitors like Maxis, Ericsson and so on, Mercer is here to help DiGi to carry out the research for that.

It does not end there as Mercer also assists their clients to understand, develop, implement and quantify the effectiveness of their human capital programs and policies. Mercer collaborates closely with the customers to address a wide of human capital aspects that include performance management, talent acquisition, organizational structure and so on.

Mercer is presently looking for Compensation and Benefits Survey Consultants. The incumbents are preferably to have a Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent.

Successful candidates will be assigned to assist Mercer’s clients in undertaking compensation and benefit surveys, as well as with the analysis, diagnosis and developing scope of compensation and benefits need. He or she will also work alongside an advisory team to customize and develop the appropriate compensation and benefit strategy to address client needs, and from time to time will be presenting their findings in front of the senior team members.

The candidates must have at least possess 2-3 years of remuneration surveys, Human Resource and/or related experience. As a lot of vendor-client relation will be involved, you need to be someone who is client-focused, with ability to think critically about client needs and solutions. In other words, if you cannot handle working with difficult clients, then the job is not for you. Priority will be given to those who have prior experience in managing compensation and benefit surveys.
