Dell Cyberjaya Walk-In Interview, 16-17 May 2008

Dell Cyberjaya is a 200,000 square center, established in 2007, that provides 24/7 IT support & maintenance, as well as engineering development work.

Currently, the center is manned by a few hundred employees and the company plans to accommodate up to 1000 staff within a space of 5 years, in line with its objective catching up with the world’s No. 1 computer producer now, Hewlett Packard.

Dell is holding a round of walk-in interview in its Cyberjaya office this coming 16 and 17 May 2008, for the following positions (all based in Cyberjaya – rotational work shift schedule applies for all vacancies).

1. Service Desk Analyst

Dell’s Global Service Desk is looking for technical analysts to perform linear basic troubleshooting to internal and external customers. The person will be assigned develop new processes, and improve the existing systems and processes for performing analytical and technical tasks on laptop, PC, mobile devices as well as servers.

The job requires candidates with troubleshooting skills, customer service experience and multitasking ability. Conversational ability in one or more of the following languages i.e. English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Thai or Indonesian will be an advantage. Fresh Degree or Diploma graduates are welcome to apply.

2. Application Management Analyst

Dell Cyberjaya Walk In InterviewThe incumbent will support the Dell business users, globally on Sales, Finance, Marketing and Manufacturing applications.

Requires candidates with 2 years of experience in application development and support.

Technology and standards applicable will be Oracle PL/SQL, IIS, Microsoft .Net, ASP/VB, Java and Weblogic. English is a must, with a couple of Japanese speaking vacancies available.

3. Application Management Analyst – Manufacturing

This is a support to the Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications, requiring people with skills in Tandem/Mainframe, COBOL, Tacl/JCL, Glovia, Chess/Pro-IV and also 2 years of professional experience. Mostly English speaking.
