Do women make better bosses?
Some of us work for male bosses and some of us work for female bosses. Surely people would say that men lead better than women especially in the business world. Do women make better bosses?
Indeed, women can be great leaders as well, when given the right position. There are some female traits that are helpful when dealing with all sorts of problems in an organisation.
If you are a guy, you would find it intimidating when working under the supervision of a female boss or manager. Seriously, you shouldn’t be feeling that way. Instead you should be thankful because:
1. Woman is more flexible
You can discuss anything with a woman. You can talk about your problems at work or ask for a salary increase, with appropriate reasons. A woman can multitask and they will never ask you to do minor stuff such as brew a cup of coffee.
A very important personality for a woman. With tolerance, they can withstand any bad weather at anytime. So in case anything bad happens in the office, they can quickly find a solution and not find a scapegoat. Without tolerance, everyone in the office would get fired sooner or later.
3. No ego / less ego than a man
A woman never says “I am right” when the truth is “I am wrong”. She would be apologetic and improve herself, unlike some people who are full of ego and the desire to be right in everything (and never admit they are wrong).
So, do women make better bosses?
Overall, it doesn’t really matter who is our boss as long as we do our job properly. Of course communication is very important to have a long lasting relationship but if you are not doing anything wrong, there is nothing to worry about whether you have a female boss or male boss. If you are a woman, go for your dreams and never be afraid to be at the top of the world.
