eFiling deadline extended, 15 May is the new deadline

The eFiling deadline has been extended. You can now submit your eFiling income tax returns latest by 15 May 2012. Those  who run businesses also enjoy the extension; the new deadline is 15 May 2012.

In the previous years, the deadline is 30 April for non-business tax filing and 30 June for business filing.

Note that the extended deadline is only applicable for those who use the eFiling system (online system of tax filing). If manual filing is chosen, the deadline remains the same (30 April 2012).
