Highest paid jobs in US (white collar) named

A white collar job refers to salaried job or profession held by those who carry out office, administrative, sales coordination, management and so on. In early 20th century, the white collar jobs were also called “easy jobs”. Today, while the white collar workers still work mainly in the office, for some, the term “easy jobs” may not be practical anymore.

A worker who does manual labour work, on the other hand, is called a blue collar worker. A white collar worker usually possesses certain academic qualification that allows him or her to carry out the duties assigned.

Recent research carried out by Forbes attempted to rank a number white collar job positions in the United States (US) according to the salary. Popular jobs such as General Manager, Engineering Director, Finance Director, Controller and Information Security Director have made it to the top list of the highest paid white collar jobs.

The salary figures are average of annual pay throughout the year 2010.

    It’s average of many (unspecified) sampling. So, basically a salary of $130,000 could mean average salary of between a range of anything between $40,000 and $400,000 individual salaries.
