Unemployment can draw you disillusioned. It can also make you more creative. For a man named Andy Jones, from Somerset, UK, it is the latter.
After finding himself jobless for over six months, Jones figured that he needed a new strategy in his job search. And this new move needs to be something out of ordinary, something out of the box, and something no one or not many people are doing.
He found the light after numerous hours of brainstorming, which is to advertise himself on eBay, the world’s largest auction site. The auction was closed last weekend with the closing bid of GB7.50 salary per month. An old friend spotted the advertisement, called the guy and eventually offered him a job. He is now tasked to organize an event in Coventry on sustainable development.
Jones, 55, was a communications consultant before the recession forced him out of job.
