With more and more companies opening up positions for fresh graduates in the recent run, one might wonder the thing they say about the difficult life of finding the first job is the truth, or merely an urban legend.
After Shell, Petronas, Mercedes, ASE and so on, now comes another big name in Colgate-Palmolive, one of the leading company and brands in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) market in Malaysia and across the world.
The company is specialized in producing products in oral, personal and household care, and is a fierce competitor of the world’s largest soap and detergent producer, Procter and Gamble (P&G).
The company, which has grown massively through mergers and acquisition as well as diversification of products, operates in more than 200 countries worldwide, and is publicly listed in two countries – United States and India.
Colgate-Palmolive is inviting graduates in the Human Resources (HR) to join the team as HR Graduate Trainees, an 18-month training program aimed to nurture highly potential graduates and talents into a knowledgeable executive. At the end of the program, successful trainee will be absorbed into the Talent and Employee Relations division.
Employee Relations refers to the function of maintaining good employer-employee relation that will eventually contribute to satisfaction and high productivity.
The assigned Trainee must also be ready to be relocated in any part of the country, or even in Colgate’s other global operation or base upon the completion. During the training also, you will be exposed to the full spectrum of recruitment that include sourcing, selection and hiring and maintaining close relationship with recruitment service providers. Additionally, the incumbent will also leverage his or her assistance to other Human Resources functions including the employee relations and welfare.
