JobsDB Career Fair 2008

JobsDB will be organizing the 2008 career fair next month but they are already busy preparing and promoting the event. The JobsDB Career Fair is held every year, and the upcoming 2008 event will be held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC). According to their official website, they claimed to be the first company that organized career fair utilizing latest e-recruitment technology. Their 2007 Career Fair in PWTC last year was attended by some 30 thousand visitors, with 81 companies participating and attracted close to 90 thousand job applications.

Some of the events will include stage presentation and activities, training sessions and networking opportunities.

I hope everyone in the neighboring areas will spend some time to visit this career fair. Each participating booth cost the companies between RM5000 to a whopping RM30,000 so you can look forward to some serious recruitment drive happening there. The only funny thing is that the event will be held on Thursday – Saturday, and not on prime break days (Friday – Sunday). That’s just weird…

    RM30,000 per booth is breadcrumbs for large companies.

    The Career Fair is a good opps for both job seekers & employer.

    Yeah.. I’ll make sure on that. Erm, maybe you can write about that, how to test the market for one who’re not really looking for a job.

    Regarding the event’s time, perhaps the cost is higher during the weekend..
