MARA (Majlis Amanah Rakyat) is now offering its annual scholarship award to qualified candidates for academic session 2009 and 2010.
Students pursuing first degree, professional courses (ACCA etc), masters and PhD can review the qualifications required and apply accordingly for the scholarship.
Aspiring candidates must not be recipients of any scholarship, loan or other type of financial assistance from any regulated body or company. He or she must be an active student in school with proven academic track record and co-curricular participation.
Students are also required to score min credit in all SPM subjects, and subsequently sit down for International English Language Testing System, IELTS (min mark 5.5) or Test of English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL (min score 550/65).
Courses applicable include engineering, biotechnology, science, medicine, finance, accounting, banking, economics (first degree, masters and PhD) as well as ACCA, CIMA and CA (professional).

All applications must be accompanied by the relevant certificates and transcripts of major academic examinations and sent to: Pengarah, Bahagian Penganjuran Pelajaran MARA, Tingkat 3, Medan MARA, 21, Jalan Raja Laut, 50609 Kuala Lumpur (UP: Unit Pengambilan).
Completed application must be received by the office latest by 23 January 2009.

why is the due date so soon? i mean, it states there students are also required to score min credit in all SPM subjects. so how are we going to know what our results would be when the real results are supposed to come out no later than march?

Hi take my respect.Some days ago i send a request for scolarship.But i can not understnd your result. ok fine now i say again.
i complete my HND(high national deploma) under edexcel board in uk.i also complele higher secondary school certificat &secondary school certificate.But i want study aboat.but my parents can not bear my study expenses.i study with scolarship & tution provied .i get 7 dittriction out of 16 unit in HND.i also get GPA 5 out of 5 in s.s.c. i also get 4.5 in h.s.c. out of 5.
