Masterskill College of Nursing and Health was established in 2000 and was located in Damansara Height before moving in to a new main campus in Cheras in 2004. Apart from the current main campus, the college also has branches in Ipoh, Kota Bharu and Kota Kinabalu.

As the name carries, the institution is here to nurture the nursing profession and produce qualified and competent nurses in Malaysia. Its other roles include assisting the Ministry of Health (MOH) in training and producing adequate professional nurses and health graduates to meet the increasing demand of health care professionals in the country.

Some of the courses and programs offered by Masterskill are Degree/Diploma in Nursing, Medical Imaging, Environmental Health, Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Healthcare, Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Therapy and so on. All of the programs are accredited and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) and endorsed by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).

Masterskill is now offering a fully sponsored Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom, which is implemented under their Educational Enhancement Fund sponsorship.

In this program, selected candidates will be able to undertake a sponsored 12 months part time Degree course, and upon graduation, they also have a chance to be offered a career or job with Masterskill.

To be eligible, candidates need to have a Certificate or Diploma in Nursing or the equivalent qualification, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Fresh Diploma holders with excellent results are welcome to apply, while retired nurses can also take part in this.

The institution is now giving free review and if you’d like to find out more about this you can attend their review on 16 June & 8 July 2008 at their main campus, between 10am to 12pm.

Any inquiries can be directed by email to masedufund@masterskill.edu.my.
