Yes. As the name sounds, AsiaPartTime offers you opportunity to find part time jobs from the comfort of your own place. AsiaPartTime is a homegrown Malaysian website and hence it is a no surprise that many of the jobs offered come from the country. However, I could notice their aspiration to go beyond Malaysia by providing more part time opportunities from the neighboring countries, so I guess later the presence of the ‘asia’ word will become handy soon.
The jobs available are in many forms and nature of work including promoters, sales, technicians, flier distributors and so on. The service is free for both job seekers and advertisers so if you’re planning to perhaps get some freelance writers for your next publishing project then why not give it a try?
One thing that I would like the AsiaPartTime team to look into is the way some of the wordings of the jobs are presented. This is to prevent misrepresentation of information. For example, working to promote Maxis products cannot be phrased as “high income Maxis job” or “maxis full time and part and part time job” because they sound like the incumbent will be employed by Maxis.
I know they are written in such a way that visitors will get hooked up with the advert when they see that some big shots are hiring. I hope the team can keep the poster informed about this, and perhaps put up some guide lines on how to post the jobs.
They also have a blog, which is updated on every few days basis, that gives readers some tips, updates and reviews about the the latest happenings that are mainly centered around making money on part time basis. For example, in one of the blog postings, you can learn how to tell if a data entry job is a scam or not. This is highly useful as my own observation found that many people fall prey to this kind of advertising scam.
Congrats to AsiaPartTime on the effort to provide more opportunities for the community. A great effort indeed.
