Most Powerful People 2009

Power, when given to the wrong person, can lead to destruction.

A powerful leader has to be just (as in justice) in order to be loved by his people.

So, here is a list of the most powerful people in the world (2009).

1. Barack Obama

Who doesn’t know him? Even those who are not a US resident is supporting him. He is known to be the first Black guy to be a President.

2. Hu Jintao

Definitely a very powerful man in China.

3. Vladimir Putin

Again, he is so famous. I am sure you know for what reason!

4. Ben S. Bernanke

Simply a powerful man in US. Then again, most powerful man is from US itself so we know that US has the most “most powerful people” in the world.

5. Sergey Brin and Larry Page

These are Google Guys.

6. Carlos Slim Helú

This is the world’s third richest man.

7. Rupert Murdoch

An anchor in the media (”The man who owns the news”).

8. Michael T. Duke

The retailer king. He owns the world’s largest retailer.

9. Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud

He is the ruler of a country where 25% of the world’s oil resources is kept there.

10. William Gates III

Even if you are not using Microsoft products, you will know him. Then again, how can we not use Microsoft products in daily life?
