MUET, or the Malaysian University English Test result for the mid year will be released on Wednesday, 16 July 2008. It was announced by Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia (Malaysia Examination Council), MPM today.
A total of 91,268 candidates sat down for the MUET examination in close to 900 institutions nationwide.
For those who wish to re-sit or re-take the exam, they will need to register with the state education office (Jabatan Pelajaran Negeri) before 24 July 2008.
Students can obtain their results from their school or institution, beginning 10am, while private candidates will receive their results through post.
Results can also be assessed through MPM website (link at the end of article) from 9am onwards. All is required by the candidates is just keying their registered ID, or identification card number and the corresponding result will be published.
In addition, candidates can also check their result through an SMS service gateway, by keying
MUET (space) IC no.
and send it to 39003. The service will be made available on 16 July beginning 12am.
MUET was first set up in 1999 and is a test for English proficiency, divided into 4 main components, namely listening, reading comprehension, speaking and writing.

why must have listening paper in muet??????
i have to take the new format one which is the subjective one..
it is really really tough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! coz of the listening paper. my muet result is terrible!!!!!! damn it!!!

i’m so dissapointed…
how came i got bad result for my recent test
i cn speak, write, read n listen in eng very well.
i know might b i was overconfident during da test.,,
but i don’t giv up easily…
i will take the test again
until i really satisfied wif the result..

i took muet this year at uitm and already check the result.
i got band 3 but i didn’t print the result.
now, i need the slip in order to continue my study.
after several times tried to key in my ic no. today, it shows that there was no record.
not only me but also my friend.
will anybody help me?
