Malaysia government’s website, MyGovernment (formerly MyGov), has been ranked as the 11th best government online service by the Brookings Institution out of 198 countries studied.
Considered one of America’s important think tanks, the Brookings Institution is an independent research and policy institute based in the United States.
MyGovernment was introduced a couple of years ago with its initial portal address located at www.MyGov.my. However, for some reason, it is now operating on different domain – www.Malaysia.gov.my.
With the new ranking, MyGovernment improves its previous position, where it was listed on 15th place in the year 2007. The portal currently provides more than 1,000 online services, ranging from forms downloading, job vacancy listing, business information and guides, contract tender and bidding and many others. Visitors can also access other information related to the government on the same website.
By registering with the MyGovernment website, user can performs a number of things from the comfort of their home such as applying for jobs through JobsMalaysia, downloading EPF withdrawal form, registering or amending information on their business and company and so on.
More than 10,000 people visited the MyGovernment website on daily basis.
