Job prospect for a number of industries in the year 2012 is mixed with uncertainties, but the healthcare industries in general will still enjoy good employment outlook.
At the onset of New Year, developed countries and regions that include the U.S., U.K, Europe andAsiafaced stronger demand for medical and healthcare services. The better news is that, from the look of things, the good trend would at least maintain for at least one quarter.
In the States, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that the latest healthcare job statistics in overall is on the upward trend after a series of job drops last year. Last month, more than 22,000 new jobs were added in the U.S. that include almost 10,000 jobs at various hospitals across the nation.
In the next few months, the medical industry will continue adding new jobs in a wide range of specializations, with some specializations expected to grow at a faster pace than others. In November last year, the Barrack Obama administration pledged up to $1 billion in grants to facilitate the country hiring and training new healthcare personnel.
Other than healthcare, other industries forecast to benefit from strong employment growth include hospitality, trade, manufacturing and professional services.
Certainly soothing news for those in the healthcare industry.
