Ramadan 22 August 2009

Ramadan 2009 is to begin on 22 August 2009, subject to confirmation to the Islamic scholars and the holder of the ruler’s seal. It will be the beginning of the fasting month for the muslims across the world.

Ramadan timetable will be disseminated in the next 1 to 2 weeks. Those who wish to check the daily timetable can do so at the Jakim’s website. Eid (Hari Raya Puasa) is expected to fall on 20 or 21 September.

Bulan puasa untuk tahun 2009 dijangkakan bakal bermula pada 22 Ogos 2009, dengan keputusan rasmi bakal diumumkan oleh pemegang mohor diraja sehari sebelum bermulanya bulan puasa.

Jadual berbuka puasa 2009 juga bakal diedarkan dalam masa terdekat ini. Mereka yang ingin membuat semakan dari sehari ke sehari boleh menyemak laman web Jakim (www.e-solat.gov.my) untuk kemaskini terbaru.

Hari Raya Puasa pula dijangka jatuh pada 20 atau 21 September 2009.
