Shell scholarship open for candidature

Shell Scholarship 2009 is here to offer funding opportunities for eligible Malaysia students pursuing undergraduate studies (first degrees and pre-university studies) on full time basis for a number of courses.

Candidates studying (or will be studying) in recognized institutions inside the country as well as overseas and meet the stipulated criteria can apply for the scholarship award.

Apart from the undergraduate and pre-university courses, 2 additional scholarships are offered for a postgraduate study, namely MSc in Geosciences to be based in the Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP).

Courses eligible cover Engineering (Petroleum, Electrical, Mechanical and Chemical), Business, Sciences, Finance & Account and Information Technology.

There will also be potential for the scholarship recipients to obtain employment with Shell, one of the most reputable companies in the world at the moment. Shell offers good training and development, as well as competitive salary package for its employees.

Generally, to qualify for the scholarship, candidates need to show excellent academic track record, active in extra curricular activities, as well as possessing strong leadership and communication skills.

Submission must be made online, where candidates need to register as an applicant and make submission before 1 May 2009 (Update: as of now, Shell scholarship for the year is now closed). Shortlisted candidates for the scholarship will be notified at later stage.

    pls i want to know if they have shortlisted the names of those that apply for schorlarship in 2008/2009 section which i also apply for thanks reply.
