You Can Create Miracles

I enjoy reading quotes especially those that inspire and ignite a positive energy. Two good ones about work that I can recall are:

Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life – Harvey MacKay

It’s not the hours you put in your work that counts, it’s the work you put in the hours – Sam Ewing

And this is rather long but it has so much of truth in it that I felt compelled to share it here.

Life is about passion and purpose. Very few people take the time to define what it is they really want; what they would pursue at all costs regardless of adversities, barriers, and obstacles that might (and will) stand in their way. The miracle of life is discovering what miracles you want to manifest. And when you identify just one or two of them (throughout your life), and unconditionally commit to them… you will achieve them! – Jay Block

We know work is part of life and to be found in a job that we are passionate about is undoubtedly the best thing that can happen to us. But what is really amazing about having passion and purpose in our work is the power it exudes – creating miracles.

For the majority of us, we wait for miracles to fall on our lap. Miracles to a lot of us mean a stroke of luck or subjecting ourselves to a game of chance….oh God, I pray I can be the winner of this contest and get my dream car! We always think along the line of us as the recipient of miracles.

Are we limiting our view on miracles?

Is it not possible to think of ourselves as the “creator” and “giver” of miracles? When we purposed in our hearts to do things differently and when we do it with passion, are we not capable of manifesting miracles?

Einstein, Thomas Edison, Mark Zuckerberg and Michael Jackson, to name a few, share something in common with us – they work as hard as we do! But they are able to manifest miracles and brought changes not only to themselves but to other fellow beings. They are miracles’ creators!

“C’mon, not everyone can be like them. I am not that gifted.”

No, you won’t be another Einstein or Michael Jackson, but whatever passion you have, only you can transform it into something great that no one else could. We are all uniquely created after all. And the best part is that you can start right where you are. We might not see you turning the world upside down immediately but the impact you make through a change of how you view your job on the person connected with you such as your colleagues, customers, bosses and subordinates will certainly start you at the right direction.

Now, everyone can create miracles!
