Idemitsu SM (Malaysia) is the sole manufacturer of Styrene Monomer in the local market and is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The company is now entering a strategic phase of growth with special focus given to the development of of human capital and talent management, and is now looking for competent and motivated individuals to be part of the growing team.

Job vacancy: Account Executive

The Account Executive will be reporting to Head of Finance, with key roles including:

Carry out finance, accounting, audit and taxation functions which include maintaining and reviewing of financial records to ensure adherence and compliance to the approved accounting standard
Prepare and complete periodical accounts closing that include reconciliation of financial reports
Analyze and appraise financial, costing and other related business information in order to meet the internal and external parties reporting
Coordinate and administer Company’s budget and financial forecast

As a requirement, the candidates for the Account Executive position need to have a Degree in Accountancy or Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or MICPA) and possess at least 5 years of extensive experience preferably from audit firm. Good operating knowledge in computerized accounting software system. Meticulous, analytical and self-motivated.
