UMT or Universiti Malaysia Terengganu is the 14th public university in the country, with its main campus located in Mengabang Telipot, Kuala Terengganu. The current site was formerly known as University Pertanian Malaysia and KUSTEM. The Tutor position is open for Malaysian citizens, with minimum age of 18, possessing a Degree (Ijazah Sarjana Muda) or Masters (Ijazah Sarjana) from tertiary institutions recognized by the academic qualifying bodies. Preferable fields are Engineering, Architecture, Law and Account & Finance.

Candidates must scored credits in the subjects of Bahasa Malaysia (and pass the oral assessment) for SPM or equivalent qualification. The positions offered are as temporary (sementara) and the faculty and subjects assigned will be decided by the Head of Department.
