Job vacancy: MTS Trainer (Risk Management)

Location: Shanghai, China

Our client is one of the more established independent risk management organization (Third Party assessors) providing risk management systems and management systems certification to clients both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop/deliver training courses relating surveys during construction and Third Party’s inspectors Rules and Regulations statutory surveys and other applicable standards.
Develop/deliver training courses relating ship surveys during operations and Third Party’s inspectors Rulesand Regulations statutory surveys and other applicable standards, such as ISM, ISPS, etc.
Support local (office) led training initiatives with Korean clients
Monitoring the client training market in China on an ongoing basis
Liaise with Business Development, Marketing Managers and Local Managers to meet client training needs in China

Job Requirements

A firm background in marine surveys
A first degree (or equivalent) in a related engineering discipline
Solid understanding and basic knowledge of marine classification; new construction, marine repairs, periodical, statutory, materials and equipment surveys as necessary
Fluent in Mandarin, proficient standard of English
Experience in working with clients
Good IT skills, particularly MS Word and PowerPoint
