SGH or Singapore General Hospital is a flagship hospital in Singapore’s public sector. SGH was established in 1821 and is the country’s first and largest acute tertiary hospital which provides mult-discipline medical care. The nursing, medical and paramedical team work in collaboration to provide quality patient care to the patients.

Vacancy: Pharmacist

The Pharmacist’s main job will be to provide a full range of pharmacy services to out-patients and in-patients. The person’s general responsibility and role will include optimizing drug therapy to patients and healthcare personnel. Additionally, he or she will supervise a team of personnel to ensure proper dispensing of medications according to the assigned specification and requirement.

You will have the opportunity to be exposed to specialty areas such as Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Infectious Disease Management, Aseptic Services, Critical Care, Clinical Nutritional Support and others, in addition to providing specialized patient counseling e.g. Anticoagulation Clinic and Medication Management.

To be qualified for the post, the candidates need to have a Degree in Pharmacy and are registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Board, with relevant work experience working with a clinic, hospital or a retail pharmacy environment.
