Pharmacy Officer, MOH

Jawatan Kosong SPAThe Ministry of Health (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia) is looking for interested and qualified Pharmacy Officers (Pegawai Farmasi, Gred 41) to work with the organization.

The successful candidates will work and render their service at designated government hospitals and carry out duties and job duties such as procurement, supply, dispensary of pharmaceutical products, clinical pharmacy and so on. Officers who are presently working as Assistant Pharmacy Officer (Pembantu Farmasi Gred U3) are eligible for consideration if they are holding a certified position.

To qualify for the job, the candidates must be a Degree in Pharmacy or relevant qualifications from institutions recognized by the government as well as registered with the Malaysia Pharmacy Board (Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia). Applicant must also pass their Bahasa Melayu paper (including the oral paper) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or similar qualification recognized by the authority.

Job responsibilities:

  • Serving the government hospitals and Pharmacy Enforcement units throughout the country and involve in the enforcement activities including the administration and management
  • Responsible for regulatory activities which include analysis of drug ingredients, cosmetics and traditional as well as registration and licensing of drugs
