Job vacancy: Seismic Data Management Consultant, Miri, Sarawak.


Seismic / Bore Well / Wells Data Management Geoscientist acting as the focal point for all Wells data management services.

Ø The main duties and responsibilities encompass the management of Well data types including composite well logs, deviation surveys and end of well reports.

Ø 3 to 15 years of Experience in working in a support organization or environment within the Oil and Gas Industry Must have Geology / Geophysics or equivalent masters degree.

Ø Good interpersonal oral & written communication.

Ø Should be good in customer liaison and team management.

Job Description
Ø Performing Seismic 2D & 3D data management
Ø Performing Seismic data loading in GigaViz
Ø CDA, DEAL and DTI seismic data submission compliance
Ø Seismic entitlements management
Ø Management of Seismic data release and trades
Ø Seismic Physical media transfers
Ø Data Archival and retrieval
Ø Management of Data Rooms
Ø Management of Wells & Seismic spatial layers within GIS systems
Ø Gocad Project Creation
Ø LicenceWeb Administration
Ø Previous experience in working within an oil company or service contractor within a technical services environment, preferably E&P data management or subsurface data management
Ø Experience of Landmark Application Suite
Ø A flexible, solution-oriented, “can do” attitude
Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills, must enjoy communicating with customers and providing a professional service
Ø Must be able to work as part of a team yet must have the confidence to work on tasks without supervision
Ø Methodical and organised, with the desire to supply a high level of customer service
Ø An understanding of ITIL and CMMI support methodologies
Ø Experience in working in a support organisation or environment within the Oil and Gas Industry would be an advantage
